U.S. Immigration Attorney - Of Counsel
Having worked for Surowitz Immigration, PC since August 2012, Daniel Lopez has been one of the primarily responsible attorneys on hundreds of temporary and permanent employment visa cases, with a special focus on H-1B professional visas and PERM Labor Certifications for multinational corporations in the San Francisco area high technology industry. He has also worked with clients in many other sectors, and on varied other matters including E-3 and TN professional visas, and the full permanent residence process including Forms I-140 and I-485. In addition to employment immigration cases, Daniel has worked on a wide range of complex immigration matters including visas for victims of crimes, immigration waivers and motions, and appeals.
Having grown up on United States side of the US-Mexico border, he gained first hand exposure throughout his life with the issues many immigrants face. Daniel received his Juris Doctor degree from Golden Gate University School of Law in 2014, and holds a B.A. in Legal Studies from the University of California, Berkeley. He is a fluent, native speaker of both English and Spanish.
