U.S. Immigration Attorney
Raquel Vasquez has been continuously working in the field of immigration law since 2013, and joined our firm in 2014. Raquel has gained substantial experience working on immigration cases for individuals and families including Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, U Visas for Victims of Crimes, I-601 Waivers of Inadmissibility cases, Asylum matters, Adjustment of Status (“green cards”), and Citizenship Applications. Raquel has attended numerous proceedings before the Department of Homeland Security, as well as hearings before Immigration Court. Raquel also assists in the preparation of employment visas such as H-1B, O-1, TN, and various other professional visas. Additionally, she frequently participates in presentations to various organizations in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Raquel received her Juris Doctor degree from Golden Gate University School of Law in 2015 and holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, San Diego. During her time at GGU, Raquel was part of the Veterans Legal Advocacy Center, where she assisted local veterans in obtaining healthcare benefits from the VA. She is a native, fluent speaker of English and Spanish.
