As the Founder of Technology Law Group, Kimon Cambouroglou uses his diverse educational and professional background to assist companies at every stage of development on the road from concept to success. Kimon practiced law at Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel LLP, a large New York based international law firm with a strong corporate practice. He has also founded and acted as CEO and General Counsel of two successful information technology companies.

At Kramer Levin, Kimon handled a wide variety of matters, including mergers and acquisitions, Exchange Act reporting and asset and stock purchase transactions. He was also actively involved in the day-to-day legal and business aspects of companies of all sizes, including angel and venture capital financings, initial and subsequent public offerings and other capital-raising transactions.

At IT Slashers, an IT consulting and hardware firm, Kimon played an active role in all company matters and handled the company's legal affairs. Kimon pitched products and services to a variety of clients and developed corporate partnerships and political ties. He also managed a cutting-edge computer hardware development project and organized and monitored technical teams for consulting projects. As GC, Kimon negotiated and drafted various agreements, including hardware licensing, OEM, consulting, technology transfer and employment agreements.

At FreeSurfin.com, an e-commerce, ISP and entertainment company, Kimon was heavily involved in all aspects of the company from concept to financing. He created the business model, devised financial projections and managed the researching and drafting of the business plan. He also supervised the creation of the beta version of the proprietary software and the network infrastructure. Kimon then set up meetings with venture capitalists and angel investors and took part in pitches to those investors.

Kimon received an MBA from Yale University and a law degree from UC-Berkeley Law School. He received a Bachelor's Degree in an individual major honors program from studies at UC-Berkeley and UC-Davis. He is a member of the California and New York Bar Associations. He is also involved with the Hellenic American Professional Society, where he has been invited to participate in panels for young entrepreneurs, and the Hellenic Law Society.
