Christina Tsakona is an international startup lawyer with significant professional legal experience in both the U.S. and Europe. Her corporate legal counsel focuses in entity formation, venture capital financing, cross-border transactions, and commercial agreements for startup companies in the US and globally. Christina has assisted and consulted over 40 U.S. and international startups and more developed companies through all sensitive points of related financing and transaction processes. In addition to her corporate work with startups, she also assists Surowitz Immigration, P.C.’s immigration clients with corporate visas, including for International Executive Transferees and Investor Visas. She holds a Bachelor's in law from the University of Athens, Greece, where she had practiced law as a Greek attorney since 2008, as well as a Master's in Law (LLM) degree from University of California, Berkeley. Christina speaks Greek, English, French and German, and is licensed to practice law in both California and Greece.
